The Digital Collective

Words matter

They matter more than we realize

Words have an impact.

The world has changed. We have changed. We are all linked, sharing one brain.

We are all neurons and through our ethernet synapses, one brain is the sum of us. The idea of trending gives value and importance. Sadly, trending itself adds no judgments. no restrictions. and so this stage we offer to literally every neuron, plays a part in popular belief.

Before our satellites and mainstream fluid-flowing words, we were our own brains. connections limited. Before the thoughts of billions were visible, we had our own, our kin, and that's it.

In psychology, the mind is most fascinated with the negative. Any "word" you wanna use to describe it. violence, drama, tragedy, racism...

The idea of puppies, sunshine, and love do not peak the same centers of interest as high, as do the dangerous ones. We, as a species, are wired to survive. So it is of utmost importance we pay more attention to such things. Know the details.

News channels market to that part of your brain. Over and over and over, the story is shared through our digital collective as to not just provide details and help secure the safety of others, but because it is of greatest interest.

This design is poison

maybe to wonder is healthy.

maybe there are somethings we should not know. Scenes we should not see. Stories that should not be shared.

Another point I'd love to make is this. Your opinion of me, is truly none of my business.

Do I crave it? yes...
Should I seek it? I don't know
But do I need it to survive? no

Our brains can be influenced. persuaded. however, it maybe more difficult. The digital collective however??? Super easy. This is a place that is readily accessible. Where you can be anyone you want to be and the only rules are... there are no rules...

So yes, words matter, choose them wisely.
